About the Materials
These mail plates are crafted of Sand Cast Aluminum and finished in your choice of 11 finishes. Each finish gives the appearance of a natural patina on any one of the background colors. Special paint processes allow Dahlhaus to achieve an extensive variety of desirable colors and patinas. All paint finishes are uniquely formulated to withstand the harshest of climates.
About the Design>/b>
These rust-free recycled aluminum castings are highly regarded for their elegance in design and incredible detail. Each piece is meticulously inspected and special attention is given to cleaning all rough surfaces. The back of the plate is flat, there is no box to hold letters but can be used as a column box or as a mail plate attached to a wall or door. The Mail Plate as well as the Slot can be customized to fit text up to 13 or 12 characters in length respectively. This beautifully ornate mail plate is intended for outdoor use and has a weatherproof finish. All necessary hardware for installation is included.
